ISKF Calgary opened its doors in 1985 as the official ISKF Alberta headquarters. We are a fully accredited martial arts school teaching traditional Shotokan karate to men, women, and children. Our children’s program is recognised as one of the strongest in Canada.

We train under Sensei David Jones, 8th Dan, with over 40 years of karate experience. Sensei Jones is the Chief Instructor of ISKF Alberta, Chairman of ISKF Canada, and represents ISKF internationally as a Technical Committee member.
