Our Story
Nobushi Kitchen & Bar is a new Japanese restaurant on 17th Avenue SW in Calgary. Sushi, ramen, karaage, and izakaya-style dishes made fresh daily.
Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Grab a seat at the counter, settle into a table, or order on Uber Eats. The mango roll and matcha latte combo is already becoming a local favorite.
How We Do It
Quality ingredients sourced from local Calgary suppliers and specialty importers. Nothing frozen, nothing sitting around.
Every roll cut, every bowl assembled when you order. Ramen broth simmered for hours. Sushi rice seasoned by hand.
Karaage fried crispy. Dragon rolls torched to order. Signature rolls you will not find anywhere else on 17th Ave.
Dine in at the counter or grab a table. Take it home. Order on Uber Eats. However you want it.

We carry Japanese sake including an exclusive cup sake from the Hokkaido zoo, yuzu sake, sparkling sake, and aged shochu. Pair it with Asahi, Sapporo, or Kirin on draft.
Ask about our yuzu highball or try a matcha latte if you are keeping it light.

Warm wood finishes, shoji screen accents, and soft lighting. The patio out front has seating under red umbrellas on 17th Ave. Inside, it feels like a neighborhood izakaya.
